Today was an interesting experiment. As I have been meandering around this new city with camera in hand looking for inspiration for verse, I have been letting my first shot dictate where to direct my eyes moving forward. The mind loves patterns and focusing on specifics truly opened a casual saunter into a fractally investigatory stroll. It's much akin to the classic "Where's Waldo" children's game, which I instantly found myself playing. Spinning deeper into observation, the familiar became exciting and the old, new.
I was letting pattern, perceived without color saturation, lead me. And the following images are the result.
